About Kate

PROFILE

Kate Hooker is an incentives compliance specialist with KSM Location Advisors. Kate assists in the delivery of economic development services, including providing comparative analysis, research of economic development programs and sites, and ongoing compliance with incentives programs.

Kate is also a consultant in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s State and Local Tax Group. In this position, she provides a variety of state and local tax consulting services for sales and use, income, and property taxes.

Prior to joining KSM Location Advisors, Kate interned with a number of government offices and local businesses, including the Marion County – City of Indianapolis Office of Corp. Counsel and Butler University.

EDUCATION

Kate graduated from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science in arts administration and from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, cum laude.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Kate is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association and is admitted to practice in law in the state of Indiana. Kate is also a volunteer tutor with School on Wheels.
