Katie Culp, president of KSM Location Advisors, joined Stephen Reynolds, partner at Ice Miller LLP, and Matt Will, University of Indianapolis associate professor of finance, on last week’s Inside INdiana Business’ INsiders panel. Culp has appeared numerous times as part of recent panel discussions for the news show.

The panel focused on the recently announced changes in executive leadership for some of Indianapolis’ top community figures, such as the retirement of Eli Lilly’s CEO, John Lechleiter, the GOP selection of Eric Holcomb for the gubernatorial race as replacement for Mike Pence, and several other high-profile leaders who are moving on or assuming new roles, including Scott McCorkle and Tony George.

The panel shared their thoughts on the positive impact that these public figures have had on the local community and how their legacies of service will continue to grow in momentum in the coming years. Culp noted that executives that leave their positions yet stay in the community and contribute to the growth of other companies have had “a huge ripple effect” on the local economy.

KSM Location Advisors is part of the Katz, Sapper & Miller Network. As president, Culp consults and advises clients on economic development incentives, location analysis, and related economic development opportunities in all 48 contiguous states.
