Katie Culp has been named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Indiana 250, a list of the most influential business leaders across the state in multiple industries.

Culp was selected for her many accomplishments in the economic development and real estate arena. She currently serves as CEO of KSM Location Advisors, Katz, Sapper & Miller’s site selection and incentive consulting practice. Prior to joining KSM Location Advisors, Culp led Cassidy Turley’s (now Cushman & Wakefield) national location advisory and incentives practice, working with corporate clients to make fully informed location decisions and maximize state and local incentives packages. Culp has also led economic development efforts in central Indiana for organizations such as The Indy Partnership/Indy Chamber, Boone County Economic Development Corporation, and the city of Indianapolis.

Over the course of her 25-plus career in economic development, Culp has negotiated more than $915 million in economic incentives and has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, privately owned firms. At KSM Location Advisors, she leads a team of incentives professionals who work with clients across the country and around the world to provide incentives consulting, incentives compliance, and location advisory services.

“Having worked alongside Katie for many years and seeing her impact on KSM’s people, our clients, and in the community, she is one of most influential and impactful people I know,” said Tim Cook, CEO and president of KSM. “Katie’s skill and success in the economic development field is eclipsed only by the impact I see her make on our people every day. We are proud of her for receiving this tremendous and much-deserved honor.”

Culp has garnered several other awards throughout her career. She was named a 2016 Woman of Influence by the Indianapolis Business Journal; received Junior Achievement of Central Indiana’s 2017 Best and Brightest Award in the Real Estate, Development & Construction category; and was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 class of 2013. Additionally, Culp has been recognized by Real Estate Forum as a Woman to Watch in its Women of Influence category.

IBJ Media editors and staff made final selections for Indiana 250, with nominations provided by fellow Hoosiers. The full Indiana 250 list can be viewed on indiana250.com.
