Alex Miller is a manager of client services with KSM Location Advisors. As an incentives optimization specialist, he has a proven track record of maximizing client success through strategic location and incentive planning.

Alex is a skilled negotiator and project manager, collaborating closely with clients and economic development officials to develop and implement customized incentive packages tailored to the client’s specific needs. His deep understanding of tax incentives, infrastructure, and grant programs empowers him to unlock significant cost savings and accelerate growth for his clients.

Prior to joining KSM Location Advisors, Alex spent 5 years at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), most recently as the Central Indiana Business Development Director. In this role, Alex secured impactful commitments, attracting over $1 billion in investment – creating thousands of new jobs for the region. Alex’s expertise lies in navigating the complex landscape of state and local incentive programs, securing meaningful benefits for clients across diverse industries, including: advanced manufacturing, distribution, life sciences, data centers, and corporate headquarters.

EDUCATION

Alex received a Bachelor of Science degree in public affairs from Indiana University.

ASSOCIATIONS AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Alex currently serves on the Policy Committee for the Indiana Chapter of NAIOP, a Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Previously, Alex served on the Brightlane Learning (formerly School on Wheels) Young Professionals committee.
