Alexis Sowder is a multistate project manager with KSM Location Advisors. She works closely with companies and economic development officials across the country, maximizing state and local incentive packages, and assisting our clients in making fully informed, data-driven location decisions.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexis worked at Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as manager, where she supported the advancement of their national brokerage practice groups. Her primary responsibilities included enhancing relations, promoting the brokerage specialties, and assisting with business development initiatives.
Alexis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business – Indianapolis.
Alexis is a licensed Indiana Real Estate Broker and has served as treasurer of Kappa Alpha Theta Housing Corporation Board as well as chairman of the Public Affairs Committee for the Indiana Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
Currently, Alexis serves as a board member and treasurer of Circle City Prep, a college preparatory charter school for students on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis. Alexis is also a member of the 2020 class of United Way’s Leadership United program, through which she served as a board fellow for St. Mary’s Child Center. Internally, at Katz, Sapper & Miller, Alexis is a member of the INSPIRE events and networking committee – INSPIRE’s mission is to improve KSM’s success in attracting, retaining, and developing talented individuals of all backgrounds, and to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
