May 7-12, 2018 marks the second annual National Economic Development Week. Created by the International Economic Development Council, the goal of Economic Development Week (EDW) is to increase awareness for local programs that create jobs, advance career development opportunities, and increase the quality of life. EDW is designed to highlight the importance of economic development taking place in the United States.
While EDW is geared more towards Regional Economic Development Organizations (REDOs) and Local Economic Development Organizations (LEDOs), KSM Location Advisors celebrates the week by highlighting success stories of our own from the past year.
In 2017, KSM Location Advisors secured $2.7 million worth of incentives on behalf of our client Aggressively Organic, Inc. (AO). AO is an innovator in the agribusiness industry with a mission to end food insecurity in our lifetime. To do this, the AO team has engineered the “Aggressively Organic Micro Global Strategic Design™” to give control of the food supply chain back to individuals, allowing them to grow their own food.
AO was looking to establish their headquarters operations and hired KSM Location Advisors to negotiate economic development incentives on their behalf.
KSM Location Advisors first assisted Formstack, LLC with securing incentives in Indianapolis, IN in 2012. In 2017, Formstack decided to locate an operational hub in Colorado Spring, CO and hired KSM Location Advisors again to consult on their behalf.
Formstack is a data management company and digital form creator that has become a national leader in producing, managing and hosting online forms for clients.
